Campaign News

December 17, 2007 - Close Out Report presented

Through December 7, 2007, cash pledges and commitments totaling $2,277,504.75 have been received from 129 businesses, local municipalities and individuals through the  IMPACT 2012 campaign. 

I would like to thank the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Impact 2012 Campaign Operating Committee, the many volunteers who worked so hard over the last several months to ensure the success of the IMPACT 2012 initiative, and the staff of the Valdosta-Lowndes County Chamber of Commerce.  It has indeed been a pleasure to work with so many individuals whose only motivation is the desire to what's best for Valdosta-Lowndes County.  I especially thank David Durland, Myrna BAllard, and my assistant Johnette Snyder for their support, cooperation, patience, understanding and friendship during the course of this campaign.  Whatever success has been achieved would not have been possible without them.
