Campaign News

LEADERSHIP DIVISION OFF & RUNNING: Under the direction of Co-Chairs Sheila Butler (Sheila J. Butler & Co) and Ben Garrett (RA-LIN and Associates) over 30% of the Leadership Division prospects have already been contacted with several pledges already in hand. Scott Kauffman (Greenway Medical Technologies), Pierce ‘PT’ Waldrep (Government Tax Services) and Matt Windom (Carroll County Water Authority) have already completed initial contact with all of their prospects and are now following up to secure pledges.  By the time you read this, I’m sure others will have completed their contacts and will soon be reporting positive results.

PACESETTER DIVISION IS NEXT UP: Co-Chairs Josh Chapman, Linco Properties, and Vic Painter, Wells Fargo, are in the process of lining up the Pacesetter Division Teams and they will begin making their calls in mid-April.  This is the third and final division of the Advantage Carroll initiative.

$3.3 MILLION SOUNDS LIKE A LOT OF MONEY and it is,” said Tim Warren at the Kick-Off Breakfast, “but the return on $3.3 million is $175 MILLION in new capital investment and over $100 MILLION in new payroll, through the creation of 2,000 new and retained jobs along with the other measurable economic goals over the next five years.”

Tim went on to say, “Carroll Tomorrow needs more than $3.3 million to fully accomplish all that needs to be done over the next five years.”

Tim challenged Carroll County’s business, government and community leaders to come together over the next few weeks to ensure that a minimum of $3.3. million is raised and that we move toward a new goal of $4 million.  “We have just begun the process to make Carroll County the Georgia and southeast leader in economic development, quality education, community development and quality of life.”

At the end of the campaign, the “Honor Roll of Investors” will be published in the Times-Georgian and will be displayed on a permanent plaque in the Carroll Tomorrow building.
